OUTCOME AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE PROGRAM
The intended outcomes for ATP students is that they exit with a variety of life skills that increase their independence and render them employable for either a direct hire, supported employment , or volunteer job. All students will have received extensive public bus and mobility training to move between instructional sites in the community.
The ATP will utilize a supported employment model to place students in appropriate work, community and school settings where students will learn skills for success. Transition Instruction is to take place primarily in integrated, age-appropriate, functional, recreational, community based settings for better generalization of skills.
